The IfU – Pedometer PED 30 is a compact step counter for the support of rut monitoring and health control of milk cows.

» changes of activity allow important conclusions for the rut behavior
   and animal health
» maintenance-free use (no change of batteries necessary)
» fitting and refitting of all plants of leading milking technology manufacturers,
   including data management
» in combination with the mastitis detector a qualified evaluation of the animal health is possible


Functionality:

» fastening of the Pedometer PED 30 on the cow’s leg
» recording of the activity of the animal over 24 hours, 7 days a week
» number of steps will be saved every 15 minutes
» transfer of the measuring data by radio to the PC-System

Evaluation software “ACTIVITY”

» output of the activity is always relative that means the current number of
   steps is related to the average of the last x days
» period for the accumulation of steps: interval between two milking processes
» default filter of the relative activity of the current shift
» optionally further filter parameters like the previous shift and/or the changes of the
   milk quantity, as well as animals with exceeding the blocking period for
   insemination can be switched on or off
