Development engineer in electrical engineering/mechatronics/physics
Our company has more than 20 years of expertise in the implementation of research and development services as well as the production of corresponding device and measurement technology in the following areas:
- optical spectroscopy / plasma diagnostics
- sensor technology for measuring physical quantities
- customer-specific solutions for collecting measurement data
- development of the associated hardware and software
In this context, we have extensive experience in creating research associations, networks and collaborations at home and abroad. To expand our team, we are looking for a development engineer in electrical engineering/mechatronics/physics.
Your tasks:
- Participation in the design, production and testing of innovative device concepts with new measuring systems/principles
- Analog and digital circuit development
- Development of application-specific requirements for hardware, electronics and software
- Planning and implementation of measurement setups for testing prototypes/demonstrators
- Participation in research projects with universities, research institutions and industrial partners
- Writing reports and documentation
Your qualification:
- University or college degree (or comparable degree) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or physics (or: completed scientific university studies, preferably with a focus on the natural sciences), ideally with professional experience
- scientific interest and thinking
- independent and systematic work
- committed, structured and team-oriented way of thinking and working
- confident handling of office software
- good verbal and written skills
A technical understanding of the areas of embedded systems and software (embedded C, Python and model-based software development Matlab) would be welcome. Good knowledge of English is desirable.
Class B driving license and car are recommended to reach the place of work.
