Forschung & Entwicklung

In our in-house optical laboratory, we develop and produce precise, bespoke optical systems – from simulation and prototype development right through to validated applications. A vibration-isolated laboratory bench provides the foundation for stable and reproducible measurement conditions, particularly for interferometric, spectroscopic or laser-based applications.

Simulation & System DesignSimulation & System Design

We use optical simulations from the very beginning of the design process. This allows us to analyse and optimise aberrations, optical paths, tolerances, and system performance at an early stage. This approach reduces development time and increases the reliability of our plans.

Optical Laboratory & Measurement TechnologyOptical Laboratory & Measurement Technology

Our laboratory is equipped with a wide range of optical components, including lenses, laser sources, detectors, and high-resolution cameras. Thanks to this equipment, we can set up complex experiments flexibly and implement customised measurement systems quickly.

We can also examine and document the finest structural differences using an existing microscope. This enables us to analyse and evaluate surfaces, microstructures and material-related changes with precision.

Image processing & analysisImage processing & analysis

In addition to optical hardware, intelligent data analysis is also crucial. We develop powerful analysis algorithms for camera applications, including those using high-speed cameras, using tools such as MATLAB and Python. These tools enable us to analyse dynamic processes, quantify motion sequences and automatically process spectral information.
