Launch of an eye diagnostic device for horses – EquieEye
As part of this project, IfU Diagnostic Systems GmbH plans to launch an innovative eye diagnostic device for horses. The system developed enables, for the first time, an objective, non-invasive measurement of visual acuity using a camera, LED light pulses and automated software analysis. Following the development of the prototype, technical optimisations will be carried out on the hardware and software, functional tests will be conducted under stable conditions, design adjustments will be made, intellectual property rights will be reviewed, and a production line will be set up to manufacture a pilot batch.
The funding period for the market launch runs from 1 January to 31 December 2026.
